Housefull 4: Sajid Nadiadwala’s Akshay Kumar starrer will be first Bollywood comedy to release in 3-D
Sajid Nadiadwala surely knows the cinema game right. After fetching huge attention for the news of his next release, Housefull 4, having a budget of Rs 75 crores for just the VFX, now the man has announced a 3D experience for the fans of the franchise.
Bombay Times reports that Housefull 4 will probably be the first film in the comedy genre to release in a 3D format in Bollywood.
The makers have already confirmed that the entire cast from the earlier Housefull films has been roped in for the upcoming sequel. The cast includes Akshay Kumar, Boman Irani, John Abraham, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, Deepika Padukone and Jacqueline Fernandez among others. The lead actor, Akshay Kumar, will be seen taking a warrior king avatar for the film. Sajid even claimed that Housefull 4 will be the most expensive comedy-drama from his production house.
The Quint reports that Sajid plans to cash in on the theme of reincarnation in the newest installment of his successful comedy franchise. The producer admitted that he has derived the theme from age old classics of Indian cinema like Madhumati and Karz, and now wants to try his hand in comedy with the same theme. “Why not a funny take on punar-janam (reincarnation)? That was my idea. I shared it with my story writers. They came up with a terrific plot within no time. So yeah, here we are all set to do a rip-roaring take on reincarnation,” he said to The Quint.
